New LOs

Picking up steam after a quiet December:

Mother, done with Old Time Lovers, by Laitha, at SAS. Alpha is an unidentified freebie. If you know who made it, please let me know so I can credit them! This is my mom, wearing an antique dress, taken in the mid-60s.

Bill and Alice, also done with Old Time Lovers, by Laitha, at SAS. These are my former inlaws, Wiep (Bill) and Alida (Alice) Kok. They immigrated to Canada from Holland after the war.

Kiss, from our wedding. Done with the SAS January megakit Sugar & Spice. Fonts used are Acorn Initials and BD Renaissance.

My sister Gretchen's wedding with Larry Porter, also done with the SAS January megakit Sugar & Spice. Font used is Old Script.

And last but not least, a photo of several of my relatives, taken in the 1920s or 30s. I used Treasure Box from Designs by Moo, available at SAS:

Aaaand, it's time for the first crop of layouts in the new year.

These were both created with Stone Accents Studio's December megakit, Home and Hearth.

The first is Three Generations, featuring my 75 year old father as a child.

The second is my son, Emrys, who loves all things moose:

Here's the December crop of layouts I've been working on (and a few more from November):

My daughter Bethia, looking like an Ice Queen. Done with NBK's Doodle Di Dei kit.

Next, a layout using SkrapperDigital's Magesty kit. The photo? Me. The font used is BD Renaissance.

Here's another layout featuring my daughter, made with Boo's April Clair kit:

For November's ATC challenge at SAS, I did a layout featuring my uncle Walt Weispfenning, who was a WWII veteran and hero. I used Miss Crow's Liberty kit (no longer available) and the Freedom alpha by Amy Teets:

This one's called "The Groom Awaits" and was made with CathyC's In My Life kit:

Also with the same kit, The Women who Made Me. The font in this one is Scriptina:

This one was done for the November Color Challenge at Stone Accents Studio. The kit is Boo's Color Challenge kit, the paper scrap is by Lilou, whose website has vanished, and the pink jewel and doubloons by Kyra of With a Russian-Dutch Heart.

And I think that's a wrap for this post. Leave a comment, let me know if you're reading me?

Catching up, part 2

More layouts to post. This is a series of photos of my daughter. I'm not entirely pleased with how the layout turned out, but it was an interesting experiment. It was done for the Ad it Up challenge at SAS. The kit used was the April 08 SAS megakit, April Showers.

This is a portrait of my oldest son when he was a teenager. The paper is Grey Matters from the Urban Edge line, the overlay is from Digikeepsakes. The font is Amsterdam Grafitti with an action by Atomic Cupcake. It was done for the Font Challenge at SAS.

Next is a photo of my beloved husband. This layout was done for the Clutter It! challenge on SAS. Leaves and mushrooms by Kubivet, love wordart by Elegant Wordart, and angel wordart by Ladylove of Aussie Scrappers.

This is made up of several photos of our friends and us. Halloween is for grownups, too! Done entirely with the Sept. 08 SAS Halloween megakit

And finally, I made this layout for the Picasso Challenge. The challenge was to make the frame without using someone else's product. Everything else is from the Geist kit from Miss Crow's Magickal Emporium.

I think I may have a few more lurking around, but that's quite enough for this session!

Boy, am I behind!

What with taking on lots of challenges, oral surgery, and beta testing a new MMORPG, I haven't posted any layouts up here in over a month!

So here's a giant blast of layouts all at once!

This is Bethia when she was 4. Kit is For the Birds by Enaideel Scraps

An ATC card I did for the SAS ATC challenge. I used the kit Gotta Have It - ATC by CanDesigns:

This one is my paternal grandparents, done for the Designer's Giveaway challenge at SAS. It uses the Pout Pourri kit, by Mamrotka:

This one is for the SAS Element Challenge. It's made with the Jan 08 SAS megakit.
Additional elements from Barb Derksen, Coco&Co., and MirkaK. Felt action by Atomic Cupcake.

Next is my entry for the SAS-y Self Challenge. For October, the theme was your hairstyles over the years. It was done with the SAS Feb. 08 megakit:

This is done with the October Mega Kit, Gathering Leaves, from SAS:

That's roughly half of what I need to post, so I think it's a good stopping point. More to come!
